Abortion and belief

Franks post on pro life seemed to spawn lots of discussion!

I had a search around the net for various discussion on abortion, seems like theres HUGE amounts of information from all kinds of angles.

The problem is....

If you think people are killing humans, you really do need to say something! "For evil to prevail requires good men do nothing"

If you get really serious about it, you take serious action.

I wonder if terrorists tend to have the same mentality? They are convinced that they are preventing evil and are driven to extreme action.

This, of course, can cause a MASSIVE problem. I'm a little lost to how we solve it.

perhaps empathic thinking and debate amoungst a diverse range of people will give a more rounded perspective. Or perhaps, conflict is a natural consequence of human society, there is no happy medium.

I really liked your comments on Franks site Keith.

I pulled out becuse alot of stuff just seemed like old christian rhetoric.

It seemed to start off at a decent place with Frank asking if some should change their perceptions on how to sort the high rate of abortion in NZ with a practical and relistic approach.

It then decended into a right and wrong argument, a perfect object lesson into the real problem.

Thanks :-)

I like Franks approach to this issue.

I think it will be generations before the rhetoric will die away (if it does). But, luckily there are a number of brain engaged christians out there.

The problem is these are hard problems to think about. It's either too easy to not think about it or to simplify it too much so that you can think about it.
